According to Young Communist League National Secretary Buti Manamela….”Matric results are a private matter and publishing them in newspapers put too much pressure on Grade 12 pupils, some of who committed suicide, so this practice should stop!” If a student fails matric , not only will it leave them humiliated but it will also leave them to be the laughing stock in townships… so according to your opinions what do you think?

Is it really necessary to go all out for a child’s birthday?
There’s a trend of parents going all out when preparing for their toddlers birthday parties…..I recently saw pictures on facebook , of a 3 year old’s birthday party on point from the venue to the food, drinks and deco BUT Strangely it was attended by people who are in their twenties and thirties . Let’s be real….when you promise your 3 or 5 year old a birthday party yes they will be excited because in their world a party is a small get together with a jumping castle outside, 10 of their friends and lots of sweets. However I’m told that that most parents who do this use their kids’ parties as an excuse to flaunt their cash…Out of all the things in the world. Is it really necessary to go all out for a child’s birthday? Or is it a matter of , if you’ve got the money flaunt it?

Single to Married Life
My observation and Research by experts shows that single ladies, watch what they eat and make a point that they hit the gym almost every week. When you get engaged, you diet to ensure you fit into your wedding dress. But once you get married you pile on the kilos after getting married…..why is that ladies? Is it because we (Men) are not supportive? Men want to eat pap, meat and other heavy meals. Obviously it will look wrong if everyone has a different meal on the same dinner table?

FASHION 101 WITH OUMA TEMA
The importance and the benefits of de-clustering. Most time we keep harboring old clothes and stuffing them up in our closets with the hope to one day put them on, lose weight for them to fit…..without knowing, you don’t have space for new items. What this does emotional and physically.
REMEDY 101 WITH SHIRLEY M
Ball Point Ink Stains
Spray hair spray on the stain, and then rub with clean dry cloth. The ink should disappear. Repeat, if not removed. This method works especially well on polyester.

Apply petroleum jelly or peanut butter to the spot and work through the hair.

Love at first Sight
I am a 28 year old lady who is from around and I was sick recently and consulted in a certain surgery.
The doctor who helped me at the surgery was a handsome and down to earth guy and i fell in love with him immediately I can say it was love at first sight and I strongly believe that the feeling is mutual. The thing is i have waited for him patiently to make a move on me but he has not yet done that but he always find an excuse to call me or sms me to ask about my health.
I think that this guy is in love with me and i am also in love with him, my question is do I make the first move or do I wait for him. Will he think that i am desperate if I propose him?

Parents & Social Network
Many couples complain that their spouses are always on social networks and sometimes it leads them to neglect their conjugal duties. Whereby kids are forced to do their homework’s on their own, bath themselves and etc.
In your opinion do you think that social networks affects family responsibilities time or what? Share with me your opinions and also tells me how we should make the social network work to our advantage and not affect our conjugal responsibilities.

Mini skirt march against women abuse
Let’s talk about the recent story about girls in mini skirt who were humiliated at a taxi rank. for me is really embarrassing when I think how far we have come as a black nation mean we have freedom of speech, freedom of movement and obviously freedom of wearing anything that makes you sexy. From way back white woman wear short skirt and dresses when going to town and they never experience what we black women experience. Share with me how you feel about the issue of ladies wearing minis and the planned march of the ANCWL which will take place tomorrow in Bree taxi rank named “Mini skirt march against women abuse”
